Changes to the BDFGC News Letter Policy


As of the Mar 7, 2007 Executive Meeting the club has changed the way it is handling News Letter communication with the membership.


In the past, two News Letters a year were mailed to the membership. This information was complete but typically 6 months old and it did not allow the club to inform the members of current issues in a timely manner.


As of March 2007 the Executive decided to utilize the web page to keep the members informed. This allowed up-to-date information to be available, saved some money and freed up some time of the volunteers involved. Paper News letter mailings are still available if the Secretary receives a written request. They will be mailed on a limited distribution for people who do not have internet access. At this time there have been 4 requests.
